Please read carefully before paying. All sales of digital courses from Modern Digital Skills are final and non-refundable. By completing payment you confirm you have read and accepted this policy.
1. No refunds on digital courses
Modern Digital Skills sells digital learning products — primarily online video courses and masterclasses. These are digital goods that are delivered instantly once payment is confirmed. Because of the nature of digital content (once it has been accessed it cannot be "returned"), all payments are final and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits after a course has been purchased.
This rule applies whether you have started watching the lessons or not. The moment payment is confirmed, your access has been provisioned and the sale is complete.
2. What this means in plain words
- You cannot request a refund because you "changed your mind."
- You cannot request a refund because you found the content too easy, too advanced, or different from what you expected.
- You cannot request a refund because you don't have time to watch the lessons.
- You cannot request a refund because of issues on your side (slow internet, lost device, wrong email used, etc.).
3. The only exceptions
We will only consider a refund in two narrow situations:
- Duplicate payment. If you accidentally paid twice for the same course (one transaction processed two charges), we will refund the duplicate charge once verified with Paystack.
- Failure on our side. If, due to a serious and persistent technical failure on our platform, you are unable to access any of the course content within seven (7) days of purchase, and our support team is unable to resolve it, you may request a refund.
In either case, you must email enroll@moderndigitalskills.com within seven (7) days of the original payment, including your payment reference. Refunds approved under these exceptions will be processed within 14 working days back to the original payment method.
4. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank, M-Pesa, or card issuer instead of contacting us first, your course access will be revoked immediately and we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with Paystack using your registration details, payment record, and any access logs as evidence.
5. Course content & availability
Modern Digital Skills reserves the right to update, improve, or replace course materials at any time without notice. The course you bought today may look slightly different in six months — that is normal and is not grounds for a refund.
We aim to keep paid courses available to enrolled students for at least 12 months from the date of purchase. If a course is permanently retired before that period ends, enrolled students will be given alternative access or a comparable course.
Before you pay, read the course description on the enrolment page carefully and watch any free preview content. If you're not sure the course is right for you, please do not enrol — we'd rather you skip it than be disappointed.
